Lisciious, 125 Walton Street, Jericho, Oxford, OX2 6AH

1920s Mary Jane Shoes and Hand-made underwear

Alice Liddell

Visited Oxford on a half-sunny and half-rainy day. I was surprised to discover two shops in this historic town. Walters the Man Shop, the menswear shop selling classic and new labels pluses modern and traditional hair-dressing department within a three-floor building. Liscious Interior is an antique shop on quiet Walton Street. Many quality antiques, art pieces and furniture are on sale now due to the shop relocation. I also went to Alice's Shop. Admiring for real Alice's clothing and her dreamy adventures, I'm obsessed with the amazing fairy tale after this trip.

Summer shorts

Black and white pokka dots shorts
100% silk
Elastic waistband
Black cotton piping at pocket entries
Centre creased

Not deliberately chose pokka dots fabric. Just because I eager for a shorts in this summer, and I accidentally found this silk fabric from my old fabric collections..... With light and stretchy characteristics of the fabric, this shorts is incredibly comfortable. To add some classy touches on it, I ironed it with centre creases and used black piping to highlight the pockets.

Minus Sun Private View

I was in the private view of Minus Sun in Brixton Village last Thursday. It was such a successful launching party. I was surprised to see all the cardboard fittings in Circus match very well with Yuka's collection. The exhibition completely shows Yuka's effort and enthusiasm on her works in these 6 years in London. I highly recommend everyone to visit this exhibition which will be running until 22rd July!

Another lovely shop I discovered from Brixton Village is Leftovers. Selling antique fashion and vintage finds, most of the clothing and accessories were collected from France. In Leftovers, you can finds a lot of unique items such as hand-crocheted collar pieces, beautifully hand-made cotton dresses with initial embroideries from 1920's, vintage Dior childrenswear...... I love every single piece in this shop. It probably become one of my favourite shops in London.

Minus Sun Launch Invitation

My friend's label Minus Sun is going to launch in Circus on this Thursday. I am so excited to join the private view. Her products are always well-made by her own hands. She is selling handmade resin buttons, rings, embroidered bracelets and bags in Circus now. I am here to make some Ads for her. The exhibition will showcase her final collection for the MA Fashion course in Kingston University from 8th-22nd July. Welcome everyone to drop in and give some feedbacks to her.

My Mania

It has been rained all the time last few weeks. I was wondering how can I kill the time at home. I finally picked up my embroidery threads and started cross stitch samplers. I love designing cross stitch patterns on graph papers. By filling crosses on them, I got the overall proportions of the patterns. Once get started embroidering, I just cannot stop. Sometimes work until very late.....But still think they give me lots of fun :) Another recent mania for me is origami shirt. This is something related to my work. Online orders returns forms produced for the Couverture and the Garbstore, which are folded as shirts. We hope our customers are not going to return the orders after seeing this lovely origami shirts!
